R.I.P. Kobe and Gianna Bryant

The legendary 41-yr old Kobe Bryant, and his 13-yr old daughter, Gianna and seven others dead in ‘freak accident’ helicopter crash yesterday, a military grade twin-engine Sikorsky S-76 [Lockheed Martin] in “fantastic” condition and with a “very good maintenance program”, a pilot to match (“especially attentive when it came to Kobe and his family”) and an ‘accident’ as yet unexplained. What are the odds? The odds of being struck by lightning or winning the lottery are better. So, what happened? If you ascend to the heights of the old boy network and then buck the system, the odds you’ll die in a high profile crash – automobile, plane, boat, helicopter – are significantly greater. I suspect foul play.

I wish Dick Gregory were still alive to weigh in. Recalling what he had to say about circumstances surrounding Martin Luther King, Jr., Prince, Michael Jackson, Bill Cosby, Magic Johnson, Tiger Woods, and so on, what do you suppose he would he say? Speaking of which; look at all that’s happened since the 2008 State of the Black Union. Where are all those celebrities and other high profile figures now – including Dick Gregory? Which seems to validate the suspicions he and others raised, and which also reminds me again, among other things, of the misdirection and diminution of Mark Jacobson’s Pale Horse Rider: William Cooper, the Rise of Conspiracy, and the Fall of Trust in America and the posthumous marginalizing and besmirching of one William Milton “Bill” Cooper, desperately seeking to discredit messenger, and by association, message and all related messengers, including yours truly.

Speaking of Jacobson’s book, what about all those high profile entertainers and celebrities we’ve lost in recent years, like Mac Miller, ODB, etc.?

On a note of pure speculation: fraternity of the dislocated right pinkie, perhaps? Hank Paulson, Mark Cuban, Kobe Bryant… Who else…?
