COVID-19:
The Silenced Majority

Many of the world’s most tenured and highly credentialed scientists and doctors have been censored or even ‘de-platformed’ by YouTube and other social media platforms, in the vortex of the COVID-19 narrative echo chamber, simply for expressing views contrary to the Establishment narrative.

There are a growing number of experts sounding the alarm – and a corresponding effort to silence them. Early on, for instance, there were 12 Experts Questioning the Coronavirus Panic, and then 8 MORE Experts Questioning the Coronavirus Panic, and then 10 MORE Experts Criticising the Coronavirus Panic, but has the mainstream news reported any of that?

Considering the catastrophic failure in New York,123 perhaps we should give another look to Rosemary Frei’s May 26, 2020 article, Were conditions for high death rates at Care Homes created on purpose? Have a look at the more than two dozen Facts about Covid-19 compiled by the Swiss Policy Research. Have you seen any of those facts reported by the fastidious so-called ‘fact-checkers’?

In the excellent Journeyman Pictures ongoing series of interviews by John Kirby (The Press & The Public Project) titled Perspectives on the Pandemic: Alternative views on the coronavirus crisis first, the lovable Professor Knut Witkowski (Episode 2) was taken down, and then Dr. John Ioannidis – who recently testified before Congress – on COVID-19 Lockdown was taken down by YouTube. Not to mention the hysterical censorship of doctors Dan Erickson and Artin Massihi of Accelerated Urgent Care (AUC) in Kern County, California. In all, 3 of the 12 videos in the series have been removed.

For those interested, you can find all the episodes along with transcripts, mp3 (audio) files and a wealth of additional information thoughtfully, carefully, and lovingly presented and preserved by David Ratcliffe.4

This has a chilling effect on freedom of speech. Like sensational mainstream headlines that spread like wildfire only to be retracted, these pre-emptive takedowns have the (converse) net effect of casting doubt and even suspicion on credentialed experts, and ultimately slowing or stopping the ‘viral spread’ of the socially trending truth.

America, what you’re experiencing here is what W. T. Stead5678 referred to as #GovernmentByJournalism – or in this case, perhaps #GovernmentBySocialMedia. It is the relentless attempt to control the Narrative » in order to shape and manage your perception of all things » in order, ultimately, to fully and completely manipulate and control you. Cyberneticians like Norbert Wiener call it ‘steersmanship,’ and Stafford Beer observed that control must be built into the system.

The important thing to realize about systems is how they are controlled. And we must get rid of any notion straightaway that control is something imposed on the system from outside. It has to be built into it.

​ [In the book The Engineering of Consent, Edward] Bernays explains the need to take the depth approach with people in order to give them the right attitudes and these words: “It would be ideal if all of us could make up our own minds independently by evaluating all pertinent facts objectively. That, however, is not possible.” In a later chapter a publicist amplifies this by discussing of Vilfredo Pareto’s theory on the nonlogical elements in human activities and then quotes Richard Worthington’s comments on Pareto’s General Sociology, in these words:

​ Many men have tried to change the conduct of people by reasonings, or by passing certain laws. Their endeavors have often been peculiarly barren of results. Pareto shows how their failure is associated with the importance of the nonlogical. People must be controlled by manipulating their [instincts and emotions] rather than by changing their reasonings. This is a fact of which politicians have always made use when they have persuaded their constituents by appealing to their sentiments, rather than by employing [reasoning], which would never be listed to or at least never prove effective for moving the crowds.

​ Mr. Bernays has gotten his views published in The Annals of the American Academy of Political and Social Science, where he pointed out that “newsworthy events involving people usually do not happen by accident. They are planned deliberately to accomplish a purpose, to influence ideas and actions.”

You wouldn’t know it by the media coverage, but Dr. Ioannidis is among the outspoken majority. Consider for instance the 600+ courageous signatories of the ** A Doctor a Day ** project, co-founded by Dr. Simone Gold and Dr. Jeffrey Barke9

Speaking of Dr. Jeffrey Barke, to understand the kind of persecution and personal denigration these courageous folks are often facing – simply for expressing their tenured professional opinion (in contrast, is Bill Gates any sort of licensed medical professional??) listen to Dr. Barke, as he describes how he has been viciously attacked personally ad hominem, while his professionally tenured, well-reasoned views remain unchallenged:

Dr. John Ioannidis of Stanford University is a highly regarded scientific expert. But his views do not comport to the Establishment Narrative. Therefore, there is an overwhelming effort to censor him. He has been courageously outspoken. But unlike others who follow the Establishment Narrative, he does not benefit handsomely from his courage. I imagine his department will not receive $79M in grant funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, like Neil Ferguson’s Imperial College London received from BMGF back in March, 202010 – a curious coincidence of timing when you think about it, since that was precisely when the disgraced Ferguson’s11 sensationalist fearmongering model was widely publicized. Incidentally; why are we still following directives that were issued as a result of a discredited model? If the model was orders of magnitude off, then isn’t the response also?

As I said, Dr. John Ioannidis is a highly regarded scientific expert, but not so you’d know it from the Establishment media coverage – or lack thereof. Ioannidis was among several scientific experts who recently testified before Congress:

Do you recall hearing about that on CNN, MSNBC, CBS News, ABC News, or seeing it at all in, let alone on the front page of the NY Times, Washington Post, USA Today, etc.? I don’t. Somehow, even C-SPAN seems to have missed this landmark hearing, even though C-SPAN managed to cover the May 12 White House Coronavirus Task Force Members Testify Before Senate H.E.L.P. Committee Hearing with testimony from Anthony Fauci, Brett Giroir, Stephen Hahn, and Robert Redfield, and the May 13 Select Subcommittee on Coronavirus Crisis Hearing with testimony from Tom Inglesby, Scott Gottlieb, Mark McClellan, and Ashish Jha – which two hearings clearly overshadowed and effectively drown out any and all reference to the prior week’s hearing. Funny, that… There was some coverage of the 5/6 hearing, however. For instance, Alexander Nazaryan had an article in Yahoo News:

Bottom Line:

If you have serious concerns / misgivings about what’s happening right now, do not allow yourself to be buffaloed into believing you are in the minority. And do not allow yourself be silenced. Be vocal, take action now, because like Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. said, this is the fight for humanity.

Ask yourself; in the “Land of the Free, Home of the Brave,” what recourse have we, truly? Personally, I say all who deviate from the Constitutional orthodoxy of our representative Republic should be removed from office ASAP, so I advocate we #RecallThemNow. That goes for those who take special interest money, and who belong to secretive fraternal and / or think-tank NGOs. As Harry Vox puts it: #NotOneDollarNotOneVote.
